Bulletin

Solar activity was very low with just two minor B flares originating from the plage region which is turning around the West limb. There are no spotted regions on disk and X ray flux is expected to remain at background levels.

No Earth directed CMEs have been detected in coronagraph data.

The solar proton flux levels are at background values and are expected to remain so.

Solar wind speed was near a maximum of 470-480km/s at the start of the period and then slowly declining to around 410-420 km/s currently. Total magnetic field reached a maximum of close to 8nT and afterwards also gradually declined to current values of 5nT. Bz was mostly positive and never below -2.5nT. Solar wind conditions should be near nominal throughout the next days.

Geomagnetic conditions were quiet to unsettled and are expected to be mainly quiet over the next days.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 24 stations.
