Bulletin

Over the past 24 hours solar activity has been low. No significant flares have been recorded. A recurrent Active Region (AR) has rotated onto the East limb, and has the potential to produce flaring activity. The greater than 10MeV proton flux remained at background levels over the past 24 hours. No Earth directed CMEs were detected. Solar activity is expected to remain low over the next 24 hours. The solar wind speed has fluctuated between 350 and 415 km/s over the past 24 hours. The total magnetic field strength has reached 13.1 nT today (10-Jul-2018) around 12 UT. Simultanously Bz component has reached -5.2 nT. Geomagnetic conditions ranged between Kp index 0-2 (NOAA) and local K index 0-3 (Dourbes) over the past 24 hours. The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels today and tomorrow, with some chance for an isolated period of active conditions.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 17 stations.
