Bulletin

Solar flaring activity remains very low, without any flares reported during last 24 hours. We expect such a low activity to persist in the coming hours. There were no Earth directed CMEs reported during last 24 hours and the solar protons remained at the background level.

The in situ data indicate possible late arrival of the solar wind, associate with negative polarity equatorial coronal hole which reached central meridian on March 25. The fluctuations of the interplanetary magnetic field started at about 02:40 UT this morning, simultaneously with the increase of the density. The solar wind speed is still low amounting about 410 km/s and the interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is about 6 nT. The geomagnetic conditions are presently unsettled to active, local station at Dourbes reported K=3 and NOAA reported Kp=4 at about 06 UT this morning. We expect unsettled to possibly active geomagnetic conditions in the coming hours.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 22 stations.
