Bulletin

The Sun was spotless. Solar activity was at very low levels and is expected to remain so.

The greater than 10 MeV proton flux and the greater than 2 MeV electron flux were at nominal levels during the last 24 hours and are expected to remain so.

No earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CMEs) were observed in available coronagraphic imagery.

Solar wind speed was steady around 300 km/s, with Bz varying between -3 and +1 nT (DSCOVR). The direction of the interplanetary magnetic field (phi angle) was mostly in a sunward orientation (negative sector), being in a positive sector from 18:45UT till about 21UT.

Geomagnetic activity was at quiet levels. Geomagnetic conditions are expected to be mostly quiet with an occasional unsettled episode possible.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 26 stations.
