Bulletin

Solar activity was at very low levels and is expected to remain so. The solar disk returned to immaculacy.

No earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CMEs) were observed in available coronagraphic imagery.

The greater than 10 MeV proton flux and the greater than 2 MeV electron flux were at nominal levels during the last 24 hours and are expected to remain so.

Solar wind speed was steady between 315 and 350 km/s (DSCOVR). Bz varied between -4 and +3 nT. The direction of the interplanetary magnetic field (phi angle) was mostly directed away from the Sun (positive sector).

Geomagnetic activity was at quiet levels, with an unsettled interval (14-17UT) recorded by Dourbes. Geomagnetic conditions are expected to be mostly quiet on 11 July. Unsettled intervals are possible on 12-13 July from coronal hole wind stream effects, and on 14 July from a glancing blow from the 09 July CME. An isolated active interval is not excluded.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 23 stations.
