Solar activity is low, and only one low B-class flare was reported during last 24 hours. We expect such a low level of solar activity to persist in the coming hours. During last 24 hours there were no wide or Earth directed CMEs observed, and the solar protons remained at the background level.
Earth is presently inside the slow solar wind with the speed of about 340 km/s and the interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is about 3 nT. The geomagnetic conditions are quiet for more than two days, and we expect them to stay quiet also in the coming hours.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 012, based on 24 stations.
