Bulletin

The Sun was spotless. Solar activity was at very low levels and is expected to remain so.

The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at nominal levels and is expected to remain so. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux exceeded the 1000 pfu alert threshold, with a maximum of 1467 pfu at 16:10UT. The electron flux is expected to be at nominal levels, with a small chance to reach moderate levels.

No earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CMEs) were observed in available coronagraphic imagery.

Solar wind speed varied between 310 and 350 km/s (DSCOVR). Bz varied between -5 and +4 nT. The direction of the interplanetary magnetic field (phi angle) was mostly away from the Sun (positive sector).

Geomagnetic activity was at quiet levels and expected to remain so, an isolated unsettled interval not excluded.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 13 stations.
