Bulletin

Solar activity was at low levels over the past 24 hours. There are no visible active regions. Solar activity is expected to remain at low levels.

No Earth directed Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) have been detected in the available coronagraphic imagery.

The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at nominal levels over the past 24 hours and is expected to remain so for the next 24 hours. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux remained mostly below the 1000 pfu threshold during the past 24 hours. The electron flux could increase in the next period. The 24h electron fluence was at normal levels, it is expected to remain so in the next 24 h.

Over the past 24 hours, the solar wind speed ranged between 360 and 540 km/s. The total magnetic field strength fluctuated between 4 and 13 nT. Bz had a minimum value of -8 nT. The interplanetary magnetic field changed polarity from towards to away from the Sun (positive polarity). The Earth is inside a high speed solar wind stream, elevated solar wind speeds are expected for the next 24 hours.

Geomagnetic conditions reached active leves locally with k Dourbes between 1-4, NOAA Kp recorded values between 2-5. Similar conditions expected for the next 24 hours..

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 06 stations.
