Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

ACTIVE DURING A GROWTH PERIOD THAT BEGAN WITH A C9/1F AT 17/1851Z
AND ENDED AT 18/0538Z, PRODUCING ONE M-CLASS AND FIVE C-CLASS
FLARES. ACTIVITY FROM THIS, AND ALL OTHER REGIONS HAVE BEEN VERY LOW
SINCE. NEW REGIONS 8365 (S28E10) AND 8366 (S16E35) WERE NUMBERED
TODAY BRINGING THE TOTAL TO NINE SPOT GROUPS VISIBLE IN WHITE LIGHT.
